Vikings of Thule lokað
Íslenska leikjafyrirtækið Gogogic sendi frá sér fréttatilkynningu föstudaginn 9. desember þar sem kemur fram að lokað verði fyrir leikinn Vikings of Thule þann 31. desember 2011 vegna hás kostnaðar. Leikurinn hefur notið vinsælda á Facebook þar sem spilarinn fer í hlutverk víkings á Íslandi sem heldur á vit ævintýranna, berst við aðra víkinga og styrkir sig með hinum ýmsu uppfærslum. Ef þú hefur ekki prófað leikinn mælum við með því að þú kíkir á hann fyrir lokun!
Í sömu fréttatilkynningu kemur fram að spilarar megi búast við nýjum leik frá fyrirtækinu á næstunni sem kallast Godsrule.

Hello fellow Vikings,
We bring great news and not so great news. First the bad. We are truly sad to announce that Vikings of Thule will be closing on December 31st, 2011. Unfortunately, operations are costing us much more than we can justify and yet we have tried to keep the game alive because we truly love it. Closing it was a very hard decision to make.
We are very grateful to our amazing and loyal community of Vikings for sharing your time with us and taking part in the experience.
And now, the great news. We are very excited to reveal that we have been working on a brand new experience called Godsrule. It is set in a world where Ragnarrök has come to pass and players must fight to become the new Gods of Midgard. It utilizes many of the aspects introduced in Vikings of Thule and we are certain you will come to love it as much as we do.
As a token of our deep appreciation we would like to invite you to submit your email here to become one of the selected few that will receive early updates and access to the game. We will depend on those of you who sign up for early feedback and testing.
